Looks clean man. Enjoy the hell out of it. I'm thinking about going in the same direction as you, only with the Whipple. I can live w/ the 400HP kit for now until I decide I want more power and then just swap out the pulley.

Yeah its pretty cool. I really haven't driven it all that much since the install, but the few times I have it has been fun. I've got a few more goodies coming in this week appearance-wise, along with a set of Brisk plugs that I'll need to change out.

Is it OK to install this supercharger with out any gauges or any other extra expenses. Can I install this myself and only spend what I pay for the supercharger? Not going to ever go to track, just want that extra power without spending 5 grand.

I've been running my Vortech HO S/C without any type of gauges for over 2 1/2 years now.

As far as installing yourself, depends on your mechanical ability....there are many people here on the forum that have done it themself and I think that is awesome. Me, I probably could have done it, but I figured I would leave something like this up to a professional that knows exactly what they are doing....and I have no regrets what-so-ever.

Stupid question 05, but is it the intercooler that makes your set up look so much different?

One more question, What is the "Wide Band Bung Weld" for? Is that something that is necessacry for the installation of supercharger? I have a large shop and tools so I think I could do the install myself if its only "bolting" , "Cutting" , "drilling" to make the install. I also have a mig welder but if I need somekind high tech welding that would be a little more than I would trust myself to do.
