Will I forget?

The only reason I don't have one is because I'll lose my license, plain and simple.
But that's a different story, and I prolly lose said license with a 125 anyway.

When I finally learned how to really "give it the gas", I started doing MUCH better. I was surprised that the more I revved the car, the better it reacted. I think when I was first learning, I was just too timid with the gas.

I went for about 18 months without driving stick when I had my auto GT. I guess I've driven stick for so many years, that I hopped right into the new one and drove off the lot without even thinking about it. Autopilot.

I had a tough time learning, but once I got the hang of it, it never goes away. I mean, once you've learned the basic principle you won't forget. That's why it only takes a few minutes to be able to drive a completely different manual car if you already know. You just have to find that point where the engine pulls and it's a done deal. It may not be as comfortable or fun, but you can still get from point a to point b without putting too much stress on the car. Like someone said, it's like learning to ride a bike (pedal bike, going old school here), once you learn, you don't forget.

Been driving a stick ever since I could remember! Just like riding a bike (regardless of HP) you will have no issues. First gear is always the toughest but time always help in that dept. Bet you cant wait till spring>>>>?
