Default Splice-in Sequential tail light Q

I am wondering how much harder is it to do the splice in sequential tail lights. Has anyone done this, if so how was it? Any tips?

I did the meter4it (http://meter4it.com/) kit. It really wasn't that bad, though I did have a little trouble with the "scotchlock" wire splicers. I'm happy with the result, though, and the meter4it has the "chase" mode, which the other sequential kits don't. See their web site for videos of the different modes. From what I've read on this forum, some people, like myself, really like the "chase" mode much better, and others don't think it's a big deal.

Thanks for the info, I decided to order the webelectric sequentials and can't wait to get them in. I will probably soder mine in just to make sure everything gets connected properly as opposed to the clip things.

splicing in wires, or anything else electrical isn't difficult at all - and, according to what i've seen it can save you 50 bucks or more than buying a plug-in kit.

I've had a little practice, once pulled a DC jack off my current laptop and resodered a new back on. Cost me 10$ as opposed to HP wanted to charge me 400$ to replace the stupid DC power jack thing.

I've seen a lot of posts on here from people who are happy with those. And if I had it to do again, I think I'd solder mine instead of using the "clip things."

The only downside to sequentials is that it's one of the few mods you don't really get to enjoy directly. I do occasionally see other drivers react to them, though, and that's fun.
