+1 ^^^^
Hahaha.

Anyway, I haven't modded

a) because I'm an indecisive SOB and there are too many awesome choices for every mod

and

b) I'm 17 and the cash flow is low...

But I will...and I'll join the happy modders crew barring any problems...

I'm actually not overly obsessed with doing anything to the engine ... I just wanted something "unique" and something I LOVE to drive.

I don't live in a large town, but the car gets PLENTY of looks and lots of questions asked at car washes / gas stations / stores / etc. (pretty much where ever I go) ... but it's all good, that's why I did it. Just a few more things to do.

Interesting then that you were the first to respond.

Anyway, in response to the OP, power is fun. More power is more fun. Now go get yourself a CAI and tune. Make it the FRPP package so you don't have to worry about warranty or any custom tune problems.

well, i wonder what will break or fail once i install my cdc window louvers. maybe the trunk lid will fall off on the freeway because of excessive wind turbulance caused by the louvers. anyone else have this problem?? lol!!!

Now I would like to ask, if you are not going to the track, why do anything to the
engine? The V8 has plenty of power for the street.

I see an awful lot of threads with problems with mods to the engine.

Just wonder why you guys like to cause yourself problems.
Check out my galleries and look and all the mods (appearance and performance) and my answer to you is the 300 BHP was not enough for me on the street and I have yet to track the car....( I may do so but no immediate plans-just want to see what she can do) I like spirited driving- like 0-60 as fast as I can etc so hence the reason to mod the car.

No problems with the motor at all....luck is not needed nor required as the tune and the level of maintenance are monitored and performed religiously!!!!!!!

Its pretty basic... you like what you see so you go for it. MF is the place to see everything and get you hooked on things you may never have considered or even know about otherwise. Like someone else said, it makes you feel good, it makes you happy. If you don't get it, thats ok. You have other addictions that we might not think are worth the trouble. Thats what makes life interesting... we don't all do exactly the same things.

We all mod, because it's a hobby.
