Sequential tail lights
Just finished installing my sequential tail lights today and I have a quick question. On the paper that webElectronic sent it stated that some states do not allow the brake light to light up in the sequential format......anyone know anything about this? Is this true and if so which states do not allow it?
I installed my STLs with the webelectronics splice-in kit and it wasn't too bad. Took me about 45 mins on each harness because I didn't use the plastic things that they send, I soldered everything together and it ended up taking a little more time than I expected.

I don't get how a third brake light can sequence in the first place. What are they talking about? Maybe they meant for the brake light to be the first to light up and then the inboard, mid, outboard lights of the taillamps when you use the turn signals. I hope they're not talking about making the 3rd brake light pulse for 1 second during braking 'cause I was thinking of getting that feature in the future.

Since Ford is making the tail lights on the 2010 Mustang sequence, it is legal in all states. Back in the 60's, the 64-66 Thunderbirds had sequential tail lights so they have been around for decades before the current models ever thought about them. The old ones were mechanical that had points on a rotating wheel that lit up the light bulbs in the rear.

Oh wait! I have the Meter4it in chase mode so I'll still be unique.
