Default St. Louis owners - oil filter group buy?

Since we are all new car owners and probably plan on keeping our Mustangs for at least a few years, has anyone thought of organizing a group buy for oil filters or other regularly needed maintenance parts? I would think if we could get a group purchase together of 100 - 200 oil filters, we could all save some serious bucks. Afterall, what retailer or wholesaler would not want to make a sale like that, even at lowered prices? I would be willing to participate in handling this task if anyone wants to contact me regarding it. If someone has already organized this, I would like to get in on it.
Thanks,
AB

Well I get $10 oil changes from AutoTire (free if I go on a Sunday and do it myself). Father-in-law is a manager there, but was curous if anyone plans on getting one of those performance tuners. Maybe we could each pay them for a tune and split the difference. I don't plan on doing alot of engine mods, but would like to get the most power of it that I can, because I know how well the factory tunes them (lol).

As a follow-up, I'd thought I'd make a few phone calls this coming week and find out what kind of prices I can get for oil filters. Problem is, my owner's manual doesn't specify what oil filter the 2005 Mustang 4.0 V6 takes. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
AB

Hmm pretty sure it depends on the brand. Your better off just calling your local automotive shop and have them look it up in the catalog.

I would definitely see if you could get the Mobil 1 filter at a bulk rate.
