Default GT500KR w/V6 spoiler?

I was browsing my local Ford dealer's website and noticed they have a GT500KR for over $120k! I noticed that it has a V6 spoiler though. Did Ford run out of GT500 spoilers when they built this car? Could the dealer have swapped out the GT500 spoiler for the V6? If so, then why go through the trouble since they'd have to paint and stripe the V6 spoiler to match the car. I'm just curious because my '07 GT/CS was supposed to come with the standard GT spoiler but it came with the V6 one instead; not that I mind. I thought maybe the dealer did the swap on mine and it was not a Ford production issue but now I'm thinking it came out of the factory that way.

KR does come with the V6 spoiler ... Your CS should have had a GT spoiler ..

I'm at work (hehe...) and can't see my V6 from here, but I'm pretty sure that KR spoiler in those pictures is not the exact same as the spoiler on mine.

it is the 2008 v6 spoiler. not sure what ford was thinking. i had one put on my 07 gt bc when i wrecked it there was no way to get a new gt spoiler. so they sent me the 08 v6 spoiler which i liked a lot better than the stock one. but when i bought my 08 it was back to the raised spoiler. when i first saw the KR was using the v6 spoiler i made a comment saying those spoilers just went up in price...lol

I did some more searching and you're right. It does come with the V6 spoiler. I guess the car in this picture is just a pre-production model and it has the GT500 spoiler.

the car you posted does have the v6 spoiler on it. it has a gap on the edges of the spoiler as does the v6.

that spoiler is the v6 07+ spoiler they put it on there because i makes more downforce then the gt or gt500 one.

I have the V6 spoiler on my GT/CS and always thought it was too flat to serve any purpose other than for looks.

+1 the stock GT spoiler surley creates more downforce than the shelby or v6 spoiler.

If i got the KR (Thats a pretty big if lol) i would buy an original Shelby spoiler for it.
