Default Tuning software

Me and a friend of mine are thinking about going in half's on the tuning software from SCT or diablo sport.... we are both tired of paying $400 + to have our cars custom tuned... Your thoughts would you do it or not?

I don't think one tuner can work on more than one car. They design it that way, I believe, to "lock in" to one car (i.e., it'll only hold a single stock tune), so when you go to custom tune the second car, it will have nowhere to store the deleted stock tune.

Others might chime in, and I could be wrong, but I think I'm right that it can't be done (nevermind the ethics).
