I acutally put a capacitor in line on the trunk light circuit, upped the voltage to +14.5v DC, and increased the bulb wattage. It was good for another 12rwhp.

 

Plus, the trunk cam was probably good for another 15rwhp!

And who said the Hawgman 1000 System wasn't a performance mod!!

 

You guys are nuts! Who would drive a Mustang without a trunk light... especially at night!
I mean, you can't see where you've been; you lose 12 - 15 hp, your automatic runs slower and the

Pardon me while I search the Steeda site... I'm looking for a trunk light mod. I hear they make
a disco ball replacement bulb!

 

Mine has a trunk light....are you sure about that part?

 

I replaced my trunk light with a Saleen Xenon Headlight assembly - man I can see everything in there, and the horsepower gains....WOW, I think I heard the tires chirp going into 5th gear the other night [8D]

Oh yeah, now that I got my smart a** tendencies out for the day....I think my car decels a little slower than I am used to also. I don't mind it however, as long as it continues to ACCELERATE quickly

I'll try these mods, but I dont think I'll be able to notice much change. My is in the shop getting Chromemoly Muffler Bearings installed even as we speak! The guy said it would be worth at least 25rwhp! WOW! And when I get enough money saved up, I'm going for a 4500 stall for my 5-speed car. You think its a wise investment?

 

Stall converter on the 5 speed is going to ROCK! That should put you in the mid 10s EASY!!

 

Thats what I'm shootin for.....
