I just bought a new Stant from http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/catalog.php The Stant number is 10510, and they have 'em for about 12 bucks! With shipping, it comes to a hair over $20. Cheaper than getting 'em from Stant directly. They accept Pay-Pal as well as the usual methods. Hope this helps someone.

 

Now what would be cool is if it could be rekeyed to match the ignition key.

 

Update: Just got the cap and it IS the right one. It even has a groove where you can attach the stock plastic lanyard. Stant wants $23.95 for these things, and RockAuto sells 'em for half that. It comes to a bit over twenty bucks with shipping. I wasn't so worried about someone stealin' gas, but what they might put IN my tank. It's cheap peace o' mind.

 

I love Rock Auto!! I buy all my factory FoMoCo parts there. Half the cost of the dealer stuff and it's the same friggin thing! Good to know I can depend on them for an 05(06)

I bought a Mustang license plate frame on Ebay, you know the classic one with the 2 ponies on each side in chrome? And the guy e-mailed me that he didn't have any in stock! Who puts stuff up on Ebay without having it!

May I assume that this locking gas cap will fit on both the GT and the V-6 coupe?
