ORIGINAL: Redfire

I just bought a new Stant from http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/catalog.php The Stant number is 10510, and they have 'em for about 12 bucks! With shipping, it comes to a hair over $20. Cheaper than getting 'em from Stant directly. They accept Pay-Pal as well as the usual methods. Hope this helps someone.

What about using this factory locking cap?

I found the correct locking gas cap in Pep Boys for 12.89. Actually I bought it for my '04 F-150 which uses the same cap.

just to update this thread...
I got the Stant locking cap and it sucked big time!
It didn't fit right, the center part fell out, and there's no way to take my current cap out of the lanyard without breaking it.
What a waste of $.
If I ever get the GT out of the shop I'll look into who else has a better idea.
I did hear that there's a screen to prevent siphoning. Too bad Ford can't get a clue and use a remote lock, like the kind you see on Japanese cars costing 1/2 as much!

Sorry you had a bad experience. Ford has locking gas doors. I have one on my SHO.
