Default flowcharger?

Does anyone have any experience with one or heard anything about them? They are similar to the kenne bell boost a pump but I'm not sure how they compare and if they are as reliable as the kenne bell one. I believe they come with several of the procharger kits.

I have not heard of the term Flowcharger. At least for S197's, ProCharger does not sell kits with a boost-a-pump device. Initially they did, but scrapped that plan early and now use a second pump. If someone has a ProCharger purchased within the last 3 yrs, and it has a boost-a-pump device on it, a tuner kit was used (which comes with less stuff) and the booster was added to compensate for smaller injectors.

When I was looking to the buy the Procharger, one of the more respected shops around here labeled the Procharger add-on pump setup as "cheesy" and recommended the BAP instead. FWIW... Every shop has an opinion I guess.

Its possible some places may use the word cheesy when describing it, but only in the mindset of "bigger must be better". It seems to me that using the same stock pump with its own "supercharger" is cheesy. An additional pump seems to be a better alternative, in my opinion. Whatever the case is, in a complete kit set-up, the additional pump provides enough fuel through the larger 39.5lb injectors to be safe. Additional fuel requirements are necessary when going above each kits (P1 or D1) intended output. If the resulting 460+rwhp is cheesy, so be it.

They didn't say the entire kit was "cheesy", they just didn't like the add-on fuel pump was all. This particular shop was all about the Procharger, it was their favorite S/C hands down. Clearly the BAP and the Procharger pump both work, so whatever. Call 3 shops and ask the same question and you'll get 3 different answers, you know that...

My S/C kit came with the additional 255 L/hr fuel pump to be piggy-backed onto the stock fuel pump and that's what I've been running for almost 3 years now with no problems what-so-ever (knock on wood).
