Default Remove headlight unit

I ordered new headlights and it is the whole unit. I can't seem to get the headlights out of the car. I was reading and some were saying you need to take the bumper off. What does it take to remove the bumper unless there is something else i can do to get them out. Thanks.

bumper does need to come off to reach the two bottom screws, unless you can fit your hands in there from underneath somehow.

I've had mine out before without removing the bumper. If I remember right, I took the splash guard out to get my wrench in there and did it blind. Run the car up on ramps or stands to make it easier to get under the bumper.

How did you get the lights to come out? I never had a problem getting to the bolts, Just couldn't get the (Light Unit) out. Like it kept getting caught on everything. And splash guard?

Dont the lights have plastic clips on the bottom of them that hold them against the bumper and stop you from removing them unless you remove the whole bumper??

Sorry Joey09 when I saw this I got put off swapping mine so can't really give you anymore info.....

Oh its alright, Just trying to see if i can get them out without taking the hole bumper off. Well there is a plastic thing that i think is up against the bumper or tucked under. Still don't know how to get it out. IF they do have clips, i would like to know what i have to do.

its easier if you pull the bumper

i tried to get around it, but it was too much of a PITA

Just make sure you don't lose anything. I mangled a few clips
