This may be a stupid question but...

Since the brake, hazard and turn signals all work on a seperate filament from the running lights, have you checked to make sure those filaments aren't shot? All it takes is removing the bulbs and a VOM.

Volt Ohm Meter. But anything that'll work as a circuit continuity tester to prove the filament is good would work. And with these types of bulbs, you can hold them up to the sky and SEE both filaments. Rarely have I seen where the filament looked intact and the bulb was bad.

Correct. One filament is used for the running lights (dim) and the other for the brake/turn siganl/hazzard (bright). The backup light bulb has only 1 filament.

well i fixed it

it wasnt the filaments

turns out the bottom bolt had gotten wedged in between the running light wires in the harness for the outer two

so then the wires got clamped between the light housing and the body

so i cut the wires open, but them back together (with heat shrink around them so theyre not exposed) and then made sure it wouldnt happen again by wrapping that section with electrical tape

Excellent that it wasn't anything requiring any $$ outlay. Sometimes we're our own worse enemy when it comes to "fixing" things. LOL!
