haha scar on the bottom side of my arm for trying to use a hot catalytic converter as a point of leverage to unbolt the damn mid pipe lol
I've done the same, except I was changing my oil in my Ranger. Left inside forearm, just below the elbow, about the size of a quarter. Damn that hurt, even after cooling it, it still felt like my arm was cooking.
this thread is great ! Thanks for the humor.....!
Now as for the lights! what did they come with... connections wise... is there a relay. if not that could be the problem with the "wink"

After closer inspection it was a typical case of CHINESE RUBBISH on the connection of one of the accent lights. A little wire was bent in the wrong direction....LOL. I tracked this down after working 12hrs at work then delving into this when I got home last night. Couldn't leave the daughter distraught now could I.
If anyone does this on a 94-98model, PM me because the headlight "bucket" that holds the headlight inside the grill area has to be dremeled in 2 key spots to get the headlight(s) to sit flush like OEM. If you don't correct these areas, the headlights will stick out and look like SH!TE!!AND of course the destructions FAIL to mention this, hence the mangled slashed up hands I now have soaking in my futile attempts to make the headlights work before figuring this out!!!.
Now lets see how long the bulbs last before I take a ballpeen hammer to them and go back to OEM lighting. Here's hoping.
