Default Noise coming from lca's???

Well, i was finally able to have my bmr lca's installed today, and after i picked my car up, i could definitely notice a difference from the stockers (i don't think it's all in my mind anyway ); my car feels like it wants to make road contact more. however, i noticed sort of a high pitched 'hum' when i'm moving; it's not real loud, but definitely audible. i remembered reading on here that people say aftermarket lcas are 'noisier' than the oem one, and i was wondering if that 'hum' was the noise you all are talking about.

Its probably just transmitted road noise. Did you get poly bushings or rod ends or combo?

my lca's creak like crazy, but i think its the bushings. only noise ive noticed from them.

i might have the 'hum' you describe but between the drone of my borla and the creaking of the lcas i dont think id be able to hear it.

i was kind of wondering if it could be picking up more road noise since they're hollow (i'm pretty sure they are anyway). i got the ones with the poly bushings: http://www.ninosport.com/BMR-Tubular...Mustang-TCA019

Well its probably just NVH from not having rubber. The other guy who is getting creaks probably needs to add grease to his bushings.

You know it is funny you say that, because I noticed the same thing after putting in my BMR LCA's. I just thought it was in my head though because I drove around with the radio off on the test drive after so I could make sure they were greased good and not making creaking noises, and I have never driven with my radio off before.

mine dont humm at all they just transmit more noise (thunky kinda noise) when i hit a bump in the road. that being said i have poly rod combo bmrs (same as yours) but maybe becayse of the sperical end its not causing bind, that could be whats transmiting the humm.
just a guess.
Just make sure you grease the living heck out of them now and like after a couple hundread miles. let em break in good and then just grease every oil change or one more inbetween.

That additional hum was the only extra noise I noticed after putting in the Steeda w/poly bushings.
