How do you incorporate Serius or XM into the computer? Do they make PCI cards for the sattelite radio? Thabks for the info in advance. The system looks awesome.
Pretty sure that there are PCMCIA satellite cards.

I thought I read that in a previous post but wasn't sure. I think I will buy the Sirrius tuner so I can figure out how to spell it. I like the set up but would prefer Windows XP. I'm not sure I know anything about the operating system he used. Sorry to talk about someone behind their back but he's offline.

I think it is a cool setup. Personally, I have enough computers in my world. Don't want another one controlling the multimedia in my vehicle, that is why I opted for a head unit that does pretty much the same thing. But none the less, it is cool, and has tons of posibilities.

If I were to do it again the install wouldn't take very long at all. The computer boots up faster then my cell phone does 10 seconds from post so it works very well.
Yes I was gone doing the work thing....

That's very cool! You did a nice job and it seems to work really well. I assume the hard drives are meant for laptop use? Standard hard drives wouldn't last long in a car. What OS does it use? You running Linux? If so, what distro? Running Linux would be the only way to make it even more unuque!
