Im not gonna lie... if this wasnt my car, i also would be calling the guy out saying it didnt have cats on it. It does in fact have jba long tubes with an h pipe with cats, I honestly dont know if my shop used the cats that came with the h pipe for this setup or welded different ones in, but there are cats on my car. Give me about 10 minutes and ill try and get a picture of the underneath.

Yes, the metallic cats flow almost like straight pipe and don't do a very good job of cleaning up the exhaust contaminants. Ceramic cats flow less (though not very much less) and filter the contaminants much better. My exhaust wasn't even breathable with the O/R setup and cams.
If you have JBA headers you can get their catted midpipe and it will tone down the aggressiveness. It will still be hella loud at WOT but kill the trumpet and sound a bit more mellow at idle.
