Default What would you do?

My 2007 GT has the typical front end loose lumber chuckle. I brought it to my local dealer to have the TSB done to replace the strut mounts. This fix did absolutely nothing. HOWEVER, I'm beginning to suspect that they never actually replaced them with the new updated mounts because I have learned that the updated mounts have gold colored studs and mine do not. Anyway, here's my question: Should I have my local mechanic friend remove the mounts and check the numbers to see if I was lied to? Or, should I go back to the Ford dealer with my findings and make them fix it correctly this time? Moreover, what if I have them removed on my own and discover I was lied to? What could I do to the dealership?

Ford is looking for ways to get rid of dealers. Threaten to go to Ford if they don't fix it.
