Default Anyone buy new clamps for their BoomTubes?

I have recently heard a squeaking coming from my car and I am pretty sure its the BoomTubes that are a bit loose.

I am not surprised seeing how the clamps that come with them are no stronger then a thing piece of sheet metal lol.

Anyone buy new ones or know a good pair? I am hoping this is the problem at least.

+1 on the U-clamps. The clamps on one of my Stingers kept allowing the one axleback to come loose, even though the clamp felt tight. A U-clamp from my local auto parts store solved the problem.

The best ones you can buy are stainless 4" clamps from NAPA. They're about $10 apiece, but well worth it. I had to use these to seal up the front section of my H pipe.

As fullboogie said get the stainless band clamps. Donaldson also makes them, if you can use an impact wrench to tighten them - good tight seal for sure.

I used the clamps that came with my Corsas which are the same as the stock clamps. Works great.

The oem ford ones are the BEST for mid-pipe coupling. I've used others (torc-tites, etc.) and they hold, just not as strong nor as good a seal as the oem ones.
As far as at the muffler inlets, I've put some copper rtv on one of them to keep it from leaking, even though it clamps all the way down, it still leaked a little.
