Default Window Issue

I have been having issues with my windows for a few months. It started with my passenger window- when i would press the button all the way down and release the window would drop until it was all the way down- as it should. Then when i pulled the button back up- it would stop as soon as i released it. I didnt' feel like this was a big concern until i realized the window also woudln't go up when the door was closed unless i got inside the car from the driver side and put it up with the button. It stopped after a while, started again, then stopped again. Now, my driver window is doing the same thing, which is really frustrating when its raining or i am in a hurry and have to run around to the passenger side, crawl over put the key in and put the window up to seal it up, get out and lock it up then get on my way. Anyone else have this issue or know how it could be fixed?

Mine, on the drivers side, gets "confused" ocassionally. Eventually, it fixes itself...not sure how, but it does. Maybe it's a certain combination of button presses.

Like howarmat says, check the manual. I'm sure there's something in there about it.

Do it yourself. I believe all you have to do is open the window all the way. Then close it and hold the button for a few seconds after the window stops moving. The procedure is, however, in the manual.

Mine did that when the battery was going dead. Changed the battery and never did it again.

Same issue...do the calibration specified in the manual.

i had this problem and it was fixed like so in 2 minutes out in my front yard:

-get in the car and close both doors

-roll the window all the way up, release the switch then hold up on it for 10 sec

-push and hold switch down until the window is all the way down, release the switch then push and hold the switch down for 10 sec

-then just tap the switch up and vioala!

repeat for other door if needed or you can just do both windows at the same time!
