Default Help with traction control

I really don't like the fact that traction control is on 24/7, unless you disable it. I wish it was the other way around, since sometimes slipping down into a lower gear to do a dig can sometimes screw things up if it's not disabled. I know they use to sell a thing on ebay that would do it, but can't seem to find one and don't know if it works with our cars. Can my SCT disable it, also?

i know what your talking about, i have seen it also, it acts like a memory, it dosent reset to on everytime the vehicle is turned on or off. i will do a little searching around today. the drawback with the disable selection is that you cannot just hit the button to turn it on if needed and you always have the drift car in the dash, that yellow light is annoying to me anyway

There supposedly is a mod that reverses the switch function: "off" by default on startup and turned on manually. Sorry, but I don't have time to hunt for it. Use the search feature here on the forum.

I believe there are 2 options, a tuner can have to set to default as off or you can get a switch goes inline w/ your tcs and basicly just remembers your last setting. So if you turned it off, the next time you start the car it will be off until you reengage it and vise versa.
