Wow, that's pretty crazy! Hopefully you got a good coat of wax on after you washed it... I imagine the paint took quite a beating with all that grime.

Where in NY did you move from? I came to Houston about 6 years ago from Rochester, via Binghamton, NY. I love it here where we live now (Kingwood, about 25 miles north of downtown)... except I still haven't gotten used to the summers here, they suck!

Right now i am staying out near the Galleria. My company put me up there temporarily until I find a place of my own. I work right by I-10W and the Beltway though.

I grew up in a small town called Bergen NY which is about 20 mins. west of Rochester. I was working in Corning before relocating here in Houston and that's not too far from Binghamton either...small world!

I know where Bergen is... I got my undergrad at SUNY Brockport.

If you need any "NY to TX" advice just shoot me a PM... :-)

My first place down here in TX was in the Galleria area. I was at Westcreek at River Oaks on Westhiemer just inside 610.

STAY AWAY from the roads in the area during December, Christmas traffic is insane! :-)

Damn, how could a trip from NY to TX on an open carrier do that!? I had my car transported from NY to AZ and the worst was some bugs on the bumper and a little dust, on a black car nonetheless.
