Cool Official Dynolicious Results Thread

In case you don't know, there is an app for the iPod Touch and iPhone called Dynolicious that can measure your car's hp, 0-60, 1/4 mile, and much more using the products built in accelerometer. It does vary on how well your launch/run is, but is pretty dang close. Here's my best run with JLT/91 Octane:

0-60: 6.83
0-100: 14.42

60': 2.72 @ 25.6 MPH
1/8: 10.00 @ 76.7 MPH
1/4: 14.94 @ 101.4 MPH

Max Speed: 102.1 MPH
Max Acceleration: 0.59 G's
Peak Horsepower: 281 HP <--At the wheels. If anyone knows the drive loss it can calculate crank hp.

Please note this is on stock tires and the surface was kinda sloped. I'm not the best driver, either, and sure I can get better.

yes, its cool, but if you have gears (4:10's or 3:73's) it would throw it off on the HP estimate. other than that i like it.

Best method I've heard for this is wrap your iPod in a towel and stuff it in the cup holder.

I know it works best when it's secured in place, but you have to hit the start button and wait for it to go, so I guess as long as you can see the go button it would work. I wanna try maybe using some velcro or something idk. Oh, and the thread isn't my "official" stats, so everyone else who has done this post up.
