Default A little nitrous help. ;)

So I am in the process of installing my NOS nitrous kit. I spent a better part of today hooking up the solenoids, fuel lines, and running the main line from the bottle to the engine bay. Tomorrow Ill be wiring everything up, getting the bottle filled, and seeing how I like it.

Heres my question. For those of you that have nitrous and installed it yourself, how did you route your main nitrous line from the bottle to the solenoid? Where did you mount your WOT/Window switch? I just want to make sure I did everything correctly since this is my first nitrous install. Also, if you have any other tips, let me know. Thanks!

Oh yeah, and Im only running a 75 shot and have no desire to go any bigger. For those of you running in that range, are you running without a tune and stock plugs? Or did you order a tune and get colder plugs?

i ran mine through the side of the back seat under the carpet molding up along the door sill tucked under the plastic all the way under the firewall where there is a small hole you can run all your wiring through. probably not as safe as running the line outside the car but it works and isn't noticeable at all. very well hidden.

i thought about going that route but decided to go under the car so we'll see what happens. did you get a tune and colder plugs with your setup?

i routed mine like mike did......i did get cooler plugs and a tune upgrade on my 75 shot;however, i have heard that spraying under 100 isn't a must to have cooler plugs, but i imagine and was told a tune update was........better safe than sorry.....imo, get the cooler plugs and adjust the tune from whomever you use...i.e bama, brenspeed

I'd get a tune for nitrous. Especially if your running an aggressive custom tune already.

We ran Arye's under the car in the tunnel above the DS and he was running a 175 shot. I would get plugs and watch them often as they tend to go fast but that was with 175. He tuned his and he got 475 rwhp ang 485 tq. Its alot of fun but you're going to want to use it all the time and will be going to fill it up all the time. It is a blast though.

i have the autolite ht0's and a custom tune. i'd go with a custom tune to be safe. i was running a mail order tune before i got my custom tune done. turned out the mail order tune was running LEAN. lucky i didn't blow anything at the track those times i ran it.

i thought you were getting a supercharger installed in your car? what happened? why the nitrous now?
