A buddy of mine is a finance manager for a dealership and he pulls down 150,000$ a year. Someone is making big money on all this. I walked into the dealership with quotes on pre approved loans from three other sources and put them on the table. Then I said, "can you beat them?" They did by a point.

Never walk into a dealership unarmed...

 

well i work at a very conservative dealer.......everyone gets 1pt over the buy rate, warranties are only marked up 2-300 bux over cost...were very honest and straight forward...were not allowed to "crack" people....i make waaaaaayyy less than 150k, but i do know guys/gals in the business all the way up to 225k per year...its all in teh store, what you sell, and how much competition there is
