Installing Rousch Rears On Vert - Need Spring Compressor?
I'm planning to purchase and install a set of Rousch rear springs on my 08 GT convetible to drop the rear about 1 inch and level it out. Do I need a spring comprerssor for this job?
If so, will this one work OK...

Any tricks to make this install easy?
Thanks.

No. Spring compressor is only needed for the fronts. Disconnect lower control arm with the rearend on an axle jack and car on stands. Then lower jack until the spring comes out. You may have to disconnect the shocks also, mine were removed.

Its a little harder on the vert. You have to remove the frame supports that the coupe does not have. Its not that big of a deal just a lot of bolts. There is a specific torque sequence for reinstallation you better get a manual.
Also don't forget to disconnect the frame mount for the brake hoses or they might get damaged.
I like mine, they level it out nice, it will drop more on a vert than on a coupe.

Thanks for the install tips. I installed the rear springs today (and a set of GTA axle backs). I didn't need a spring compressor or have to remove the vert frame supports. Looks a lot different. Amazing how just 1" drop in the rear improves the overall look.
Now if UPS will deliver my Bullitt CAI, SCT and Brenspeed tunes I'll be rockin!
