hey guys, i was planning on gettin Super Stripes painted on my S197, do any of you guys know how much it might cost? anybody know of any good paint shops in Orange County California? my cousin had 2 stripes painted on his Gt and said it was only 800, but that was without pinstripes on the border of the big stripes. that was when the economy was good, he said i could probably get it done for near 600 now if the paint shop is willing to make a deal. but i have aftermarket parts that might mke it more difficult and for the pinstriping as well? i thought it would be a alot more expensive then he said, what do u guys think?

The pinstriping really isn't full on pinstriping I am preatty sure the SS Stripe is 14 Inches for the Center stripe and on each side 2 inches out there are 2 inch stripes. Although I highly doubt you will be able to do it for 600 especially for a good job and especially in CA stuff over here is usually a bit higher. But who knows I hope i am wrong let me know because I have been thinking about a SS Stripe as well.

 

definately subscribing....I have the Superstipe in vinyl, and want to get it painted.......OC is pricey, no doubt......but to your point, how busy could they be right now??

thanks man, ill check them out, im just doin research right now, next month im gettin a 73 VW camper bus so i no longer have to put my surfboard on the hood of my mustang, it doesnt look right havin a tricked out mustang haul that stuff. lol. but right once i get my VW im jumpin right back to my mustang.
