You can also manually make one of these if so inclined.

Traction control effects the throttle by controlling fuel delivery thus leaning out your car..and it also applies braking to straighten the car out..Traction Control slows the drive wheels so they can regain grip. The most common method is to use the braking system. When the drive wheels lose grip, the ABS computer can apply the brake to the wheel that has lost grip to slow it down so it can regain grip. Another method for slowing the slipping wheels is to reduce the amount of power applied to them. The computer will electronically modify the amount of fuel entering the engine and/or use the transmission to slow the drive wheels so they can regain grip..so turn off TC...in my 05gt with the saleen TC was turned off in the tune...however it did cause codes at some points (throttle position sensor other similar codes) so I had to have the TC turned back on in the tune and turned it off manually. the last thing you want to do is be driving your car at WOT at a launch if your A/F is borderline (To get max power) and you break traction and cause the car to kick in the TC and lean out your car even more....BOOM!!

Yeah with a GT, the TC cuts fuel to cut power, bad in general if you hit it alot and very bad with a S/C.

Now I believe the GT-500 has a Boost friendly TC that cuts spark which is ok for a FI motor.

I just used my tuner and shut of the T/C for good. I'm not supercharged yet, but even with out it, if you floor it in first or shiffted hard into second it would sometimes cut the thottle on me... F that, reflashed, no more issue.

I had brenspeed send me a tune that shut TC off automatically. Being a picky SOB I couldn't live with that stupid warning light showing up in the middle of the dash all the time so I went back to the other tune. If I get a blower someday I'll probably install the relay.

Same here, can't stand the warning light in the dash!!! So for now I manually hit the button every time I start up my car. If there was a way for the tuner to turn off the traction control without the stupid warning light coming on, that would be best!
