Default Traction Control Off When Supercharged?

My Whipple HO kit was finally installed and I was curious if anyone else heard that our traction control should be OFF all of the time because when TC is ON it can cause your car to run lean?

yup! very true. if your tires start to spin while you're in boost, the traction control will cut the fuel and let the engine run lean. take off traction control and have some fun

Traction control reduces throttle not fuel. Only downside I see to traction control is if you start to get sideways and it limits the throttle you end up facing the side of the road and drive off or into something.

Stability control > Traction Control

i forgot to turn off my TCS once and my A/F gauge was reading very lean when i tried to do a burnout. TCS will cause a lean A/F ratio if your tires start to spin.

So it isn't a myth...no wonder my AF Ratio Gauge was going crazy.

once you're boosted, it should be automatic; start car, turn off t/c.

if you can't handle your car without t/c, you may want to consider trading it in for a fwd.

Default taco bill

Didn't I read about that in a taco bill posting.........I think he holed a piston or something , very serious! Take your flash tuner and turn traction control off permanently.
