seeing another mustang...
This is my first mustang and i love it. As i am driving i notice that other Mustang owers wave at me. Now i know that motorcycles have there "thing" where they wave at each other and i was wondering if Mustang drivers have a "thing" ?
P.s. by the way i do wave back but it just weirded me out cause i kept thinkin " i dont know that person and i didnt do anything to make them want to wave" so i just thought it was a mustang thing.

Yeah, I wave at EVERY Mustang, whether on the interstate, on highways, or in city driving. It's a Mustang thing.
Ok well maybe not if its a woman talking on the cell phone and using the Mustang as obviously only a daily driver with no passion for Mustangs.
But you know, we used to wave at everyone on the smaller roads, even if we didnt know them...Texas friendly thing to do...

Yeah its def is a mustang thing, I remember when I got mine in '05, every '05 mustang and under gave me a wave or a thumbs up... thought it was weird at first but it kinda felt cool, like being part of some fraternity... Now I always give a thumbs up to other mustangs

The one "signaling" thing that I don't like (because I can't wave) is when driving on open interstates where the other side is separated by a median and you want to give wave or signal. I'm always tempted to flash lights or 'wink a turn signal light' or something to the oncoming stang....something to say 'hey' .

its a mustang thing sortof, i dont know excatly. i get complements and waves from peeps with mustangs, and other classic muscle cars. for example, yesterday a dude in a 67 GTO drove up next to me, gave a head nod and said nice ride. another time i was just cruising and some dude in an actual 67 eleanor sped up next to me and just cruised side by side. so its a mustang/muscle thing.
