Wow that looks great, I would love to do this, how much did it run you for all the LED's and how hard do you think it would be for a beginner..

The LEDs were pretty cheap I think I paid $25 maybe but again I didn't have as many to change because I changed out the headunit so that saved me about 20 LEDs. You may need to buy other tools such as a soldering iron and solder. Depends on if you have done soldering before as to how hard it would be. I had never done any soldering before so it took a little while to get used to. I actually somehow ended up burning up the cruise control circuit boards but it was just the iron touched something it shouldn't have. I had never even heard of soldering before I did this; I was such a newb I even said it wrong when went into radioshack to get tools and help from workers.

It took me awhile but it was my first time soldering anything and I went and checked on each new led instead of just doing them all at once. I would say in all took me probably 5-6 hours but I could easily do it in 3 now that I know how.

What does ford use on the dash? is there 1 led that cycles through all the mycolor options? Id like to find out if its possible to tie it in so that it will change with the colors.
