Default Does tuning void warenty?

Excuse my ignorance. I am under the impression that certain mods will not void your warrenty, well that is what is stated by most dealers, however, I would like to tune my car to accomadate my new CAI in exhaust. Will my warrenty be void if it is tuned?

Short answer is NO.. as long as it is not related to the issues you would be concerned with. If you have any issues after the CAI and flash tune, just flash back to stock, disconnect the battery in order to reset it, and replace the aftermarker CAI with the stock setup. Reconnect the barttery and take it to the dealer as if it was never touched. They will never know what was on there...

it's always a good idea to speak to your dealer first to avoid potential complications but NO, tuning should NOT void your warranty.

It can sure make it difficult to get the dealer to co-operate though. That's why I suggest speaking with them first.

SCT/Xcalibrator go to www.sctflash.com or the Diablo Sport Predators is another one they come with a custom tune for your car but you got to tell them what mods you have.I would also get a dyno tune done when you get one.
