Pushing the Turbo (a few more PSI)
This Saturday I will be getting a retune with some added power hopefully. I switched springs in the wastegate so I could push the little turbo to max of 15 psi hopefully. I should easily reached the low 500s on pump gas (91 octane) and be at the 600 mark on 100 octane. I had a 7.xx psi spring in there and had been running around 9.5-10 psi with the boost controler making the numbers below. With the new spring I should easily hit the max on the turbo which is 15 psi adn 600 hp. So my plans are for 10.3-10.5 psi on the low boost setting (which is what the 11 psi spring makes on spring only) and 15ish on the high setting. I'm excited to get it done since the tune has been slightly off for a while now. Still runs really good but the driveability has been a little blah.
Sactown is getting a smaller pulley along with a bigger coolant tank and heat exchanger.
Here's a pic of the new new and old spring.

I have a set of BFG KD's in 295/35/18. The tires are around 6 years old and sat in a garage for 2-3 before I got them "new". They have lasted 17k miles but they are becoming brittle and do not hook like they used to. I'm going to get a set of Nitto 555Rs or the 555R II for the street most likely.Truth be told the MT ET streets actually worked pretty good too but the soft sidewalls kind of suck for going through corners compared to the BFG KD's.
