you should PM surfbum7190 (check the members list). Looks like he hasn't posted on here since Christmas, but he had a bunch of posts about installing a CB in his 'stang. Worth a shot.

If you are using a standard CB you can get the power from the fuse panel on the passenger kick panel. Stock cb's only pull about 3 amps. My converted Ham Radio needs 30 amps so I ran my connection right from the battery. As far as mounting mine, I installed it right under the glove box. Two of the screws holding the box lined up perfect to the mounting bracket. Have no pictures handy but I'll take a few later and post them.
