Default New warning lights after dead battery

I need some help with what to do.

Didn't drive the car for 2 wks and when I went to start it up, it was dead.

So as usual, I went to jump the car and the battery was still too weak and the car wouldn't start, just turned over a couple times. So I let it alone and slowly reved the jumper car. After a couple minutes I tried it again and after a couple cranks it fired up.

Well the aftermarket alarm was out of sink and the TCS (car skidding light) and ABS idiot lights remain on in the dash. I can't turn the TCS on, it is permanently off. The car runs fine. I then disconnected the battery and after hooking it back up, the alarm is back in sink but the two lights remain on.

My car is past the warranty so dropping it off at the dealer isn't as easy as before.

Could I have blown a fuse while jumping the car and that is why the lights are on? I can't imagine that while the car sat for two weeks in the garage that the ABS and TCS broke.

I hooked up my SCT II and it said there were no DTC, I am assumming this is a trouble code thing.

Any help is appreciated.

how many miles have you put on since then?

sometimes they go away after a while...couldn't hurt to try putting a few hundred on before going to the stealership

I can't help about the light thing but my car sat for a few weeks without cranking and it wouldn't start either. I found out later on here that the shaker radio will sometimes drain the battery even when the car is turn off. You have to turn the radio off before you turn off the car. I did this and now when I let it sit for a while without cranking I have had no issues.

Or since you have the sct, reload your tune. That should take care of any ecu-related issues. If the lights remain on, then something is wrong in those circuits.

When I replaced my battery (after it drained dead due to the *&^^%$# shaker), I had to reprogram one of the power windows to close all the way automatically when closing the door. user's manual said how to do it, so you might also check in there for things.

And always make sure the radio is OFF before turning the key off!

Do you have to reload the custom tune you run when you reset the battery?

No you shouldn't have to unless you de-tuned it before hand.
