Prepainted Cervini's hood?

Prepainted Cervini's hood?
I noticed Cervini's has a prepainted hood option these days and was wondering if anyone has gone this route? I was thinking of getting their Type IV hood but I thought that you have to pre-fit all hoods before painting. Would I be taking a risk with having the hood prepainted before seeing if it even fits right? Their painting service is only $349. That's a lot cheaper than leaving it at a shop and having them prep & paint it. Being prepainted, you can just install the hood when it ships to your house.

EDIT: I just learned on the Cervini's forums that they only paint the topside but I guess that really doesn't matter unless you're going to show the car.

So you're saying that Cervini's usually fits good right out of the box? I'd really like to get a hood and this is so convenient not having to leave your car at a paint shop to have them install and paint it. If the consensus says that Cervini's fit ok out of the box then I'll go ahead and get one.

I can't speak about the quality of cervini's paint jobs, but I know that the quality of their hoods is typically second to none. I know when the shop installed mine last summer they said that they didn't adjust it at all, they just bolted it up and went with it. Now I dunno how much of that is bs but the hood is straight with even panel lines all the way around, so it's a really good piece.

Never had a Cervini hood that didn't fit right...
I'm sure they must have a bad one out there but their consistency is spot on.
They also make sure you have plenty of gelcoat, in order to give a nice support for paint materials.
That little fact here, is huge in fiberglass quality
