Default HELP MY MUFFLER HANGER HAS BROKEN!!!

note that just yesterday i tightened up my driver side muffler clamp because it was coming loose and noticed that 1 of the 2 hangers was broken and missing...

well i was driving on the road this evening and started hearing a clicking sound...i got to the fire station and took a look at the rear of my vehicle and saw my muffler hanging down below the bottom part of my rear fascia and i was like WTF...i took a look under there and saw the hanger just hanging there and saw that the weld spot on the hanger and on the muffler can had just come apart...

well right now i am at the station still and need to drive home about 15 miles away, and also have to come back to work tomorrow morning....im thinking im going to have to go to the tool room and get some duck tape and rig something up....

any field expediant advice??

That happened to me on my old system due to a poor install... but it also rusted through the pipe so I had to order a new one. I would let it hang just be careful til you get it fixed.
