I recommend Pioneer, I have a Avic-d3 and it works great. Its an older unit but suits my needs. If I was to buy now I would pick Pioneer over Kenwood, both units look awesome but I've found the Pioneers to be more intuitive.

those things are pretty bad-a§§ and i wouldnt mind having one, but i honestly dont see the need... (at least in my car). i have the stang as a romper to go fast and look good in, and another car to get me from a to b. if i wanted to watch a movie or something, i would come home and watch it on a nice tv via DVD or blu ray. if i wanted to get directions, i would take the garmin that i bought my dad for xmas out of his car. i already have a radio and a cd/mp3 player, so its obvious what i would do there lol.
like i said, pretty cool and they are doing some pretty amazing things these days, but PERSONALLY, i dont see the need. (but i would have to go with the touch screen/dvd/nav/mp3/ipod unit :-D i think it was the first one that i liked the most, with the voice activated crap)
oh, and ps- the red lights look funky good!

Reliable site yes but they are always extremely overpriced.

I ended up going with the Kenwood DDX512. I wasn't all that worried about having a NAV, and this fit the budget rather nicely.

It's a nice interface and easy to navigate through.

i dont know about anybody else, but in my 07 (i believe they started doing this from 07 and up) the AUX jack in the center console is a direct input into the head unit (for me, shaker 500). i went out and bought the retractable cable to plug that into my iphone and BAM, better than CD quality sound!
i dont know about you, but it seems to work well for me. although i find that it would be very nice to have a bad-a§§ head unit and some kicking subs (other than the shaker 500's), but i think i could find other things to spend 3-900$ on (unless i was loaded of course :-D:-D:-D )
