hey guys, im buying a new mustang soon, and the one im looking at does NOT have interior upgrade package and i REALLY want the leather wrapped steering wheel, so im going to buy the upgraded one and install.

how do i install it? is it even possible.....thanks guys

 

Its very simple and should only take about 20 min. I am sure there are some threads on this site, but I tagged this one on TMS that has a quick overview on post 1 and then a few more details on the exact fuse you need to pull to disable the airbag (which is the most important step... but simply disonnecting the battery for about 10 gives the same result) about 1/2 through the thread.

Are your going with a IUP steering wheel? Asking because I am considering swapping mine out for a Bullitt one and might be putting it up for sale.

 

yes!! i would love to buy it. i looked on the internet and couldnt find it. that is the one i want though. how much?? i found one on ebay for about 150, but its from a wrecked car...no damage, but i wouldnt want that.
