Default Burnouts ?

I was reading an aritcle in hot rod, and in it there was a statement that said the TCS keeps you from being able to do a burnout. And that the only way to do one, was to reprogram the ECM and shut of the TCS? I thought you could manually disable the TCS? Whats the deal?

The article is wrong... I turn mine off all the time. Even with an auto trans I can do a burnout with the TCS clicked off.

Am I the only one on this forum who hasn't tried a burnout?

Glad to hear that, I think I read the same article and I was kind of pissed that I was gonna have to spend money on a reflash before I could even light the tires up.

Mrs. don_w and I went out and took these today... sequence of 9 photos shot using the "burst" mode on the Sony cam. We felt like teenagers sneaking around the deserted warehouses. hehe
