The S197 was designed to have 19" wheels. Now the 2010 Mustang GT will have a 19" option.

19s are a good compromise between 20s (boat anchors) and 18s (performance).

I agree, and plan on buying 19's when I get wheels. The only negative is that there is a very limited selection of tires for a 19" wheel compared to other sizes and the possibility of a slightly higher price.

He is a little known fact. I run faster times at the track with my 20s than I did with my stock 17s. I actually get traction with the wide footprint that I have out back. And yes, I run my 20s at the strip! 13.497 @ 102 mph. What's up?!

20's without a doubt look awesome on the S197's. Now that I have a spare set of 17's for use at the track I'll be upgrading to 20's when my tires need replacing. Then I'll have the best of both worlds!
