Sell the 2008 GT. Buy an older Mustang GT. Save money. Buy a new Mustang only if Ford makes them with mid-mufflers again.

I would highly suggest you do the math to see how much it will cost you to buy a new car.
Even at $1000 off sticker price (they won't go too low on a brand new car) you will be lucky to get $20,000 for your late model, used car. Which means you'll need to fork out an additional $12,000 to buy a newer car.

Kinda hard to say, if you get the 10' you get to enjoy that, one in a million feeling a while longer, cause im sure they will be pretty rare for the first bit seeing as everyone thinks our economy died. but a 400 hp stock 5.0 sounds better

Hmmmmmmmmm bored with your '08 already? I have to say each and every time I get into my '06 I am still in love with it. I think the only thing that would get me more excited is a GT500. If I were you, I would be enjoying my '08 and wait until the '11's come out, let them get the bugs out of the '10's and wait for the extra power from the '11's. You never know the new body style could be a disappointment and you might find you will like your car even more.

Another vote for hanging on to the '08. At this point the new body styling doesn't do it for me, so if I were you, if performance is the issue, slap a turbo or blower on your '08 and call it a day. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Why do people always say "step up" to the GT500, but there is never any mention of stepping up to a Saleen, which is by far the best looking Mustang?
