Help, could use a mechanic for a case of beer
Anyone feeling generous to help out a first timer with install of a driveshaft, short throw, and some LCA's?
I'm located in the Chander, AZ area.
Case of beer and food in it for anyone willing to spend a weekend working on my car

Well thanks for the offer, but I'm trying to SAVE money doing it local. I got quotes almost 600 for installation of driveshaft and shorty shifter. That's before the LCAS UCA and panhard.
Me and my stepdad are doing the hot rod cams either next weekend or sometime next month.

I could do most everything myself following online guides, but I'd rather have someone experienced to help out. Speeds things up

Man it would be nice to know someone with a lift. Or if there was a place you could rent the use of a lift. Most shops won't let you do that from what I understand. Probably for a variety of reasons - one of them being liability.

I'd help you, but i'm in Florida. When you replace the drive shaft, be sure to place the transmission flange in the same position as the stock flange. Notice in the two pictures below that I have the new drive shaft bolted to the transmission in the same holes used for the stock shaft, but it is not positioned the same and this caused a vibration above 70mph. (look at the green and blue dots and the shape of the stock shaft flange and the aftermarket shaft flange. Notice how the U shaped side of the flange is not lined up the same.)
You may still get some vibrations even if you line them up the same. In that case you need to turn the rear of the shaft until the vibrations are gone.
