seriously, its like the first guy in your core group of friends in high school to get layed. You have to tell us everything about it! And yes we need pics(just like in high school too! HA!) And congrats, but yes, I also hate you, and am jealous as hell.

Just got a call from the guy with s/n 0001 and he was teasing me by holding the phone by the just fired up SC engine as he was wrapping up the install. After his first street test, he indicated there was almost no noticable whine.

He has no plans for getting on a dyno, so we will need to wait for someone to get a base unit installed on a stock motor and "independently" tested!! Man am I ever getting anxious and will need to figure out a way to get the install started very soon.

See I knew this thing had no whine and the whine in the video was from the dyno.

I watched the videos about this supercharger on Edelbrock's website. Apparently, it's designed differently from most superchargers and 'no whine' is a feature. The vids made it seem like whine is just a by product of conventional supercharger design and not really intended.
