You may pay more, but try buying some MG from a Ford Body shop.

Nope, definitely not the same color. There is no copper in it.

Yeah the metal flake in mineral gray really pops when the sun hits it. As mentioned before, depending on the angle the light hits it, it could look gold/copper. A very slight mystic effect to it as well.

I have noticed the following:

2005 had a color mineral grey (like your photo) = I describe it as silver with a hint of brown
2006 introduced tungsten grey = I describe it as silver with a hint of blue/purple
2007 introduced graphite Grey = Which is like between black and silver.

I am 99% sure thats mineral grey

the color is starting to worry me a little, I went to the body shop and looked at a sample of it, It looked more gold then silver. That scares me I dont want my car to look gold. So I ask anyone who has this color on their car to post pics or tell me their opinion of it.

I want my car to look like this color, and stay that color. The paint sample I looked at didnt look close to this at all.
