Whats the difference between SLP Loudmouths and strait-up muffler deletes (other than price)?

I had the pypes muffler deletes, and the difference between the loudmouths and those are actually quite large. Although the sound is similar, the SLPs pop and crackle and make this great sound coming down from high revs. But the main difference is in quality. The pypes did not line up with the hangers AT ALL and took a lot of time and effort to bend them to fit correctly. The SLPs went on in about 20 minutes and fit flawlessly. Save yourself the time and $, just get the SLPs first. Cheap stuff is cheap for a reason, I found out a lot of that the hard way.

Mission Hills. Close to 63rd and State Line.

Nice car, were did you find those silver front turn signal blinkers? They look so much better than the stock orange ones!

We did the same "mod" to our Porsche, switched out the stock orange ones for gray ones.... same effect... looks much better. (in the daylight)

After I posted a while ago (post #12) I realized that SLP Loudmouths probably wouldn't be as loud as heck (like setting car alarms off LOL) if I was using stock air induction (may change with a CAI ), stock headers, and stock Mid-Pipes.

Thanks Dark-Army for clearing up the difference between SLP Loudmoths and Plain Muffler Deletes.

@ mygt500; er... uh... whats UDP?

All: Whats the advantage of getting a new gearset? I know it allows the wheels to turn faster with less rev's from the engine...

Thanks again for all your help guys, its really helpful.

EDIT: Sorry, double post >.<
