Well the place that did them specialize in LS1's and Termis. This was their first S197 to do headers on. Plus it included installing the MM's. The other shop wanted $680. A lot of people here said that sounded right, and hell, all for under $1200 to including headers, mid pipe, metal gaskets, install, MM's, O2 extensions, and Stage 8 header bolts.

Freaking sick! I'm so pissed that I'm stuck at this damn cubicle right now, when I could be helping my dad fix it and driving it around! Oh well, it should be done when I get home. To be honest with you, it sounds like my friends 04 GT that's dumped at the axles with cats. To refresh everyone, it's now BB LT's, o/r H, no cats, and american thunder flows. I'll try to find someone with a decent camera to get sound. I know if I take it with my point and shoot it will sound like garbage, like every other youtube video.

Yeah bro, get some video for sure. Don't worry you'll be out of that cube soon and driving. Wish my dad was still around.. I miss him and you'll NEVER find a "friend" to do those kind of things for you.

Quick question, can you easily remove the steering linkage? My dad said he couldn't get it off and it's making it harder to get to the tube to heat and bend it. I get off in 30 mins and need to know if we can remove it.

Is it just in with a pin? To clarify, it's the rod attached to the steering wheel that controls the turning movement. Just not sure if I used the right term.
