Why are Garrett Turbo systems so cheap?

Do you get what you pay for? Why are these systems cheaper than everyone else?

hmmm wow i didnt know they were so cheap i think they are pretty reliable though they have a pretty great reputation. I have seen their drag mustang at bothwell around the corner from where i work plenty of times and at their facility like 5 minutes away from me. that thing is a beast

i think thats why its the tuner kit, with vortech there are other things that will be required when you buy the tuner kit

That's a pretty basic kit. You're gonna need more parts than what they have there.

Figured I would need more parts, but would anyone reccomend Garret turbo kits as a whole I guess is what Im asking?

Garrett Turbos are fantastic turbos. As far as those manifolds etc. go... I'm not sure those are actually garrett parts but either way they look fine enough. The turbos are the main focus of that kit and the ones used in the kit are very good. But they might be a bit small for our engines. They will spool fast but max HP won't be that high.

Well I used to have an SRT-4 and a lot of people would have problems with the turbos failing. I got my in a group buy and was one of three out of ten people that did not have the bearing fail or the seals go out.

It's only half of the schit guys...
It says you'll need to get more piping, intercooler, tunes and fuel system pretty much.
After all that, you're at 5 Grands
