Thanks digital. That's perfect. I appreciate the help.

And Eagle, the darker blue isn't a bad idea either. I know what you mean about things standing out too much but looking at the first two pics I posted, as bright as the blue is, it really isn't THAT noticeable from any distance.

Chip Foose has used the silver/orange combo quite a bit on cars he's done. The result is classy, clean, not over the top yet makes a nice statement.

Here's an example I found for you with the orange pinstriping around the stripes from Foose:

Nice! My son and I watch Overhaulin' religously. At one point I had rally stripes and I thought I was doing a tribute to him by highlighting with yellow. I was wrong. Yellow and orange are a world apart believe it or not.

Thanks for the link.

I'm not knocking being original by any means! I had considered something a lot similar to what you have, and think a dark metallic blue would really pop! Just my $.02

I like the orange better as it gives it more definition to the black and silver.....this is what Foose does too!

orange if you're going to put silver right next to it. Blue is a very dark color while orange stands out better in all of what you have going on.

Tracedaddy, if you want to make a tasteful mod to your car forget about the orange pinstriping and get rid of those amber colored corner lenses. Most people look to get rid of the amber lenses, not add more things to their car that match them!

That's a cheap enough mod. I've just never had a real problem with them. But then again the antenna thing doesn't bother me that much either.

K. I need to tally up responses. Standby. I should have made this a poll.
